During the coronavirus lockdown, the housing market in Scotland came to an abrupt halt. You could only really move house if it was essential with the Law Society of Scotland encouraging home movers to delay their entry dates and the Registers of Scotland more or less shutting up shop!
However, since restrictions were relaxed towards the end of June, the property market has taken off and us currently booming!

The word “unprecedented” was freely used during lockdown to explain the restrictive measures being taken.
