Our New Solicitor – Gosia Chylinska

Gosia graduated from University of Bialystok, Poland with a degree in Law, completing a Masters in Law, in 2002.

She moved to Scotland in 2007 and began employment in Trainor Alston Solicitors. Working closely with one of the partners, she quickly gained experience in family law, personal injury, conveyancing and employment law to name a few.

Whilst at Trainor Alston, Gosia studied for her degree in Scots Law.

In addition, she worked closely with the Polish community in Glasgow and neighbouring areas assisting her fellow nationals with all types of civil and criminal matters.

She became the ‘number one contact’ for the local Polish community.

Gosia was awarded the Diploma in Legal Practice with distinction from Glasgow University in 2014. Her career progressed, working as a criminal defence lawyer with one of the most renowned criminal defence firms in the West of Scotland, McCusker McElroy and Gallanagh. She worked tirelessly in preparation of cases for trial and thereafter conducted same in all courts throughout Scotland. This included instructing Counsel in the High Court.

Proving to be a dogged and determined fighter in the interests of her clients, Gosia has had many excellent results in all types of criminal cases. Speaking several languages to a high standard is an undoubted asset in assisting clients from different ethnic backgrounds.

In joining Pomphrey’s, Gosia can now assist her clients in all aspects of civil matters. Her particular areas of interest include conveyancing, private client, company and family law.
